Kiandra has completed 5 years of study at RMIT University to achieve her Bachelor of Applied Science and Bachelor of Health Science (Osteopathy). She began work here at Croydon Osteopathy in 2019.
Kiandra has always been fascinated with how the human body works, particularly after many injuries from playing netball and karate. This sparked her interest in Osteopathy and holistic approach to find the root of the problem and to help prevent recurrence of the same injuries. While completing her studies Kiandra grew her passion for helping others by working as a sports trainer at both Montrose and Park Orchards Football clubs. This taught her the importance of rehabilitation and listening to the needs of your own body.
To further her knowledge Kiandra completed studies in Myofascial Dry Needling which she says is a great way of releasing tight muscles especially when combined with techniques like soft tissue and stretching. Kiandra has also completed further studies in Paediatric Osteopathy and enjoys the challenges of treating newborns, toddlers and children of all ages. She enjoys treating a wide variety of patients to help them learn how to listen to their bodies and get them back to the things they love. Outside of work Kiandra loves spending time with her family, pilates, teaching karate and cooking.
